Day 1, Trip to Cardiff
March 26, 2019 

Today is our first day to Cardiff where we are heading for a 5 day stay. In total, we are 25 students and 3 teachers. First, we arrived at Gare du Nord station of Paris at 8 AM. Then, we went into the train at 10 AM but it was 18 minutes late. The trip to London took us two hours. Then we took a coach for 20 minutes toward Camden Town. We had our lunch along the Regent’s Canal which runs through  the borough. After that, we visited the areas. We had an hour of free time in order to answer the questions in the booklet and to buy some souvenir. At 3 PM, we took the coach again from Camden Town to Cardiff where our host family will be waiting to welcome us.

Cette semaine, à Pantin et dans toute la France, c’est la fête du court métrage. Le lycée Marcelin Berthelot lui aussi y participe. Plusieurs court-métrages seront diffusés aux élèves italianistes (terminales) sur deux thèmes: l’écologie et la frontière. Les élèves rédigeront ensuite des synopsis en italien pour nos partenaires en Emilie-Romagne, dans le cadre de notre projet eTwinning sur la langue (la langue du cinéma).
